Seventh St Barnabas shop opens in Lincoln

Charity shop: The 22nd St Barnabas charity shop in Lincolnshire will open on Lincoln’s High Street in October.

A new St Barnabas charity shop, the seventh in Lincoln and the 22nd in Lincolnshire, will open at 265 High Street on October 8.

The shop will be dedicated to vintage and retro goods in a second floor room.

The newly refurbished building takes a prominent corner position at the junction of upper High Street and St Martin’s Lane, formerly occupied by Giovanna Couture.

“Customers will be able to visit The Attic, a second floor room which will be dedicated to vintage and retro goods for sale, which is a new venture for St Barnabas,” said Phil Brandon, the charity’s commercial manager.

The new shop will be staffed by a manager and deputy manager and team of volunteers.

“We very much welcome St Barnabas to this property, it adds further strength to their portfolio of retail properties within Lincolnshire and hope it contributes to generating additional funds for their charitable cause,” said Matthew Johnson of Hodgson Elkington, the chartered surveyors who arranged the letting.
