Extension: Marks & Spencer on Lincoln’s High Street will open its extended store to the public on October 13.

Marks & Spencer is giving away £1,000 to celebrate the unveiling of its newly extended and revamped High Street store in Lincoln on October 13.

Customers are invited to join in the celebrations with a chance of wining a share of £1,000 of M&S gift cards in their Find the Gold Star competition, running between 12 and 2pm.

Store Manager Nicola Lyons is excited to be cutting the ribbon to open the shop at 9 am on Thursday the 13th.

Lyons said: “We are thrilled to be unveiling our bigger and better store and can’t wait for our customers to benefit from the improvements”.

The first floor has been extended by 5,000 sq ft to allow for more menswear, kidswear and homeware.

A new in-store bakery has been fitted to provide freshly made breads and pastries every day.

The shop’s cafe has been extended to 92 seats and now offers a wider choice of products also including Fair Trade tea and coffee.

Lyons said: “We look forward to welcoming shoppers along to the opening day to experience the new store for themselves.”
