Lincoln letting agents to merge

Merger: Hodgson Elkington and AcQuest Property Management will form a new agency called HE Lettings.

Two Lincoln letting agencies are set to merge.

The residential lettings and property management department of chartered surveyors Hodgson Elkington LLP and AcQuest Property Management Limited will form a new agency called HE Lettings LLP.

Managed by partners Jill Elkington, Iain O’May and Sam O’May, the new agency will be based at Hodgson Elkington’s offices on Doddington Road and will officially begin trading on May 1.

Sam Elkington, senior partner of Hodgson Elkington, said: “I am absolutely delighted to announce this merger not only because it is strategically very important for both companies but also because with a combined total of almost 700 properties under the careful and expert management of the partners.:

Iain O’May, managing director of AcQuest, said: “Not only will we have the opportunity together to expand two profitable businesses, we will also combine our portfolios and our skill set to become Lincoln’s lettings powerhouse.”

HE Lettings LLP will be licensed by ARLA, the National Approved Letting Scheme (NALS), The Property Ombudsman Scheme (Lettings) and will also be a member of The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
