Man dies and three seriously injured in A15 Osbournby crash

A15 crash: Man dies and three seriously injured, including a young man from Lincoln, in crash near Sleaford.

A 73-year-old man from Digby has died, and three of his passengers, including a man from Lincoln, have been seriously injured in a crash near Sleaford on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to the A15 London Road at Osbournby at 1.15am on April 14, following a crash between a red Nissan Almera and a DAF lorry.

The driver of the Almera, a 73 year-old man from Digby, died at the scene.

His passengers were a 21 year-old man from Lincoln, a 19 year-old woman from Metheringham and a 44 year-old man from Metheringham.

They were taken to Boston Pilgrim hospital with serious, but not life threatening, injuries.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who saw the collision, or either of the vehicles prior to the incident, to contact the Collision Witness Hotline on 01522 558855.
