Man punched unconscious in Lincoln pub assault

Pub attack: A Lincoln man was treated in hospital after he was punched unconscious in a High Street pub.

A Lincoln man was punched unconscious by a group of men in a Lincoln pub.

This happened at around 1am on Saturday, June 2, at the George and Dragon pub on the High Street in Lincoln.

A 33-year-old local man, who was playing pool in the pub, was set upon by a group of men and punched unconscious.

He was treated at Lincoln County Hospital for cuts and bruises.

At present there are no descriptions of the offenders, but the pub was busy at the time and officers are urging any witnesses, or anyone with any information to get in touch with them as soon as possible.
