Healthy food: An Indian takeaway trials its new healthier menu options as part of a healthy lifestyle project.

A Lincoln restaurant took part in healthy eating project in Lincolnshire by offering a taster session of its low fat menu.

Castlegate Indian Restaurant is taking part in the Health by Stealth project, which aims to offer healthier dishes to help residents opt for a healthier lifestyle.

Of the low fat dishes tried by the public so far, people could not tell the difference between the original and low fat alternative.

The project is backed by NHS Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire Trading Standards, Social Change UK and Cook Connect.

Castlegate Indian Restaurant is one of three Indian restaurants taking part in Lincoln — Mowgli and Saga Premier are also offering meals with less than half the fat content.
