Arrests made near Lincoln for drug offences

Drug connection: Two arrests were made in connection with a large quantity of cocaine and ketamine in a local village.

Lincolnshire police have arrested two men in connection to drug offences in Heighington, near Lincoln.

Officers with a search warrant went into a building in the village on October 4 and recovered a quantity of drugs, thought to be ketamine and cocaine.

Police arrested a 21-year-old local man and a 23-year-old local man shortly after.

The pair were released on police bail, pending further enquiries until January 17, 2013.
