Better shopping: Businesses in Lincoln will meet to discuss the future of shopping in the city.

Businesses in Lincoln will meet to discuss the future of shopping in the city.

The City of Lincoln City Centre Masterplan event, The Future Challenge for Retail in Lincoln, will take place on October 18 at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel.

The free to attend event runs from 8.45am to 2pm and is targeted at store manager and business owners in the city.

Speakers include Andrew McMillan (formerly with the John Lewis Partnership) and Skillsmart Retail Ltd’s Head of Business Solutions Neil Moss.

Workshops from the National Skills Academy for Retail will also take a fresh look at the needs and requirements of businesses from different perspectives, identifying the skills, knowledge and tools they might need to grow and increase competitiveness.
