A Gap Outlet store has opened in St Mark’s in Lincoln.

The retailer signed a ten-year deal to occupy more than 8,600 sq ft of the former M&Co unit in the shopping centre.

The move created 15 jobs, a mixture of full and part-time positions. The nearest Gap Outlet store to Lincoln is in Doncaster.

Children’s toy store The Entertainer is also due to open on November 10, in the other part of the Gap Outlet unit, occupying 5,000 sq ft.

The toy store is creating an additional 10 new jobs.

Cormac Hamilton, St Mark’s Centre Manager, said: “We are delighted to welcome Gap Outlet to St Mark’s. St Mark’s continues to attract new businesses and the fact we have welcomed three new businesses in as many months is very positive with Shooting Star PR opening in September and The Entertainer also opening on 10th November.”
