Lincolnshire Police are warning Lincoln residents and appealing for more information after a spike in car crime in the north of the city.
Between January 27 and 28, a number of cars were targeted on Greetwell Road, Avondale Street, Clarina Street, Saxon Street and Sewell Road.
Property like iPods, cash and handbags had been left in the cars, and offenders smashed windows to steal the items.
Police are remind residents that it takes seconds to smash a window and steal items from inside a car if they are on show.
If you saw any suspicious activity in the area, police would like you to get in touch on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
