Police search for possible witness to woman’s assault in Lincoln

Police are looking to trace a man from CCTV footage, as he may have witnessed an assault on a woman in Lincoln in April.

The incident took place between 3am and 4am on April 28 in the Hungate area of Lincoln, when a 33-year-old local woman is thought to have been approached by a man and assaulted.

The assaulted woman was treated for minor injuries, Lincolnshire Police said in a statement.

The man pictured has been identified as possibly being in the area at the time of the alleged assault and police believe he could be a key witness.

The man pictured, or anyone who may know him, is asked to get in touch with DC David Patten via the non emergency 101 number, quoting incident number 73 of April 28, 2013
