Woman in wheelchair assaulted at Nettleham police station

Vicious attack: Police are looking for a man who allegedly tipped over the wheelchair of a disabled staff member in a village police box.

Lincolnshire Police are looking for information after an assault on a member of their staff at a police box in a Lincoln village.

The incident happened at around 3pm on June 20 at the Nettleham Police Box on Scothern Road in Nettleham.

A man entered the station and was aggressive to a female member of staff who uses a wheelchair.

It is alleged the man then used his foot to tip over the wheelchair, causing her to fall out of the chair.

She banged her head during the fall but is not seriously hurt, Lincolnshire Police said in a statement.

The man has been described at white, about 5’8 and slim, with short dark brown hair and a beard.

He was wearing a black Addidas tracksuit top, black tracksuit trousers and white trainers.
