Man arrested after Lincoln newsagents robbery

Cash robbery: Police are appealing for information after a newsagents in Lincoln was robbed of cash.

A local man has been arrested after a Lincoln shop was robbed of cash on Wednesday.

The incident happened at around 7.50pm on October 9, at the Oasis newsagents on Ripon Street, at the corner with Sincil Bank.

The offender entered the shop, threatened the staff and then left with a quantity of cash, police said.

Lincolnshire Police later arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with the incident.

The man has been bailed pending further enquiries until November 6.
