Lincoln salon moves from shopping centre to High Street

Relocation, relocation: Lincoln salon L’amour Hair and Beauty will be moving from the Waterside Shopping Centre to a new unit on the lower High Street.

A Lincoln beauty salon are moving to new promises on the lower High Street and are expecting trading to benefit from the relocation.

L’amour Hair and Beauty, formerly based in the Waterside Shopping Centre, has recently completed the letting of 329 High Street with Chartered Surveyors Hodgsen Elkington.

The unit on High Street previously traded as Jessops before the chain collapsed into administration and the shop closed in January 2013.

Salon proprietor Mr Sabir commented: “The property provides my business with a prominent position, with strong footfall and will enable my business to continue to grow.

“The professional service, high customer care we provide and beauty products we sell, has enabled my business to have a strong and growing client base.”

Matthew Johnson, Agency Surveyor at Hodgsen Elkington, said: “It is pleasing to be able to relocate a local business to a strong trading position on Lincoln’s lower High Street.

“I am sure the business will continue to grow from strength to strength,” he added.
