The honours and awards were given to 25 personnel by Station Commander, Group Captain Rich Barrow, at the Officer’s Mess.

The awards aim to recognise service of outstanding merit, rendered beyond the normal demands of duty.

Group Captain Rich Barrow said: “It is a pleasure to present these awards to such outstanding recipients.

“Only those individuals that are truly exceptional are recognised with an Honour or Award.

She said: “It’s an honour to receive such an accolade. It was a great opportunity to be involved in such a high profile operation where I learnt a huge amount from all the deployed members. I look forward to using my new skills in the future.”
