Former SCY nightclub in Lincoln to reopen

New life for SCY: The nightclub previously known as SCY has a new owner and is set to reopen this summer.

A nightclub formerly known as SCY has been taken over by a new owner, and is set to reopen this summer.

The premises on Mint Street in Lincoln were taken on by Jez Nash, who also owns the Strait and Narrow bar on The Strait.

After undergoing structural work, a rebrand and a new interior, the venue will re-open as an ‘alternative’ nightclub.

Mr Nash hopes to bring the relaxed ethos of the Strait and Narrow. He said: “Unlike the bar, the new venue will be run as a nightclub with live DJs.

“We will be bringing along our quality service and safe environment.”

Ahead of the opening, the team will be looking to recruit a number of new staff.
