Doddington Road in Lincoln was temporarily closed due to a fuel leak after a collision.

The incident happened at around 10.39am on March 18 along Doddington Road, between the level crossing and Tritton Road.

A Nissan Qashqai from the Washingborough area collided with a Yamaha motorbike, believed to be from Branston Booths.

Lincolnshire Police, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue and an ambulance attended the scene.

The motorcyclist suffered leg injuries and was taken to hospital.

This collision also caused a fuel spill, leading to a brief closure of the road.
