Police appeal after Lincoln burglary

Electronics and jewellery were stolen in a home burglary on Michaelgate in Lincoln.

The incident happened on Thursday, March 6, when the owners of the property returned home at 12.50pm and saw a man leaving the house from the back door.

The burglar gained entry by forcing the back door and once inside the house, carried out an untidy search.

An XBox, Acer laptop and jewellery were stolen. The laptop was later discovered dropped in the grounds of a nearby property.

When the man left the house he went over a fence and into a neighbour’s property. He then headed in the direction of Steep Hill.

The burglar is described as white, of medium height with dark curly hair. He was carrying a large black and white shoulder bag.

Anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in or around Michaelgate at around 12.50pm on March 6 is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident 167.
