In pictures: Lincoln 10k fancy dress

Charity runners: Plenty of great costumes ran the Lincoln 10k course to raise money for charity. Here are some of the best.

While many athletes battled to be the first to the Lincoln 10k finish, there were plenty taking part in fancy dress to raise money for charity.

Fundraisers ran or walked for a variety of charitable causes, from the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, Cancer Research and St Barnabas Hospice to the Lincoln Tank Memorial Group.

Costumes included a replica tank, a bus, Super Ted, bananas, and inflatable horse, a minion and Darth Vader.
