Witness appeal after collision in Welton

Village collision: A road in Welton was closed off for the evening after a collision between a vehicle and a cyclist.

A road in Welton was closed off for the evening after a collision between a vehicle and a cyclist.

The incident was reported to police at 8.15pm on May 20, when a cyclist had fallen of his bike following a collision on Dunholme Road, Welton.

Lincolnshire Police and an ambulance crew attended the scene, and the road was closed while recovery took place.

The cyclist sustained a knee injury and broken fingers, and was taken to Lincoln County Hospital to be treated.

No-one was seriously injured in the incident, and the road reopened at 11.42pm.
