Lincoln triathlete gets push from Lindum

Local sponsorship: Lindum will be sponsoring one of its employees as he completes in a triathlon championship for Great Britain.

A Lincoln triathlete and employee at Lindum got a literal push from the company as he prepares to represent Great Britian.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Ross McGregor got a helpful ‘push’ from Lindum Chairman David Chambers while he gets ready to go to Canada for the World Triathlon Championships.

He qualified for the championships in a heat held at Holme Pierrepoint, Nottingham, earlier in the year.

He came second, completing a 750 metre open water swim, 20k cycle ride and 5k run with a time of 58 minutes and 57 seconds.

Ross will be sponsored by Lindum at the championships held between August 26 and September 1 in Edmonton.

He will be taking part on August 29 in the age 25 to 29 category.

“I’m really grateful to Lindum for the sponsorship and support the company has given me,” he said “Without which I would not be able to achieve my life time ambition to represent my country in my chosen sport.”
