The studio will also be turned into a state-of-the-art dedicated cycling studio, while the gym becomes a new large exercise class studio capable of more than doubling the current capacity.

In addition, there will be new sauna and steam cabins.

The gym is to remain open throughout the works and other facilities will also continue as normal.

The scheme will be funded through Prudential Borrowing. The savings from any borrowing costs will be retained for any future repair and maintenance works at the facility.
