A Lincoln printing firm has brought Christmas cheer early to children on the Rainforest ward at Lincoln County Hospital.

Members of the Your Print Partner team visited Lincoln County Hospital on Friday, December 19 to donate a heap of Christmas presents to the children staying there over the Christmas period.

Three boxes of gifts including boxed games, remote control cars, a hamper full of treats and a giant teddy bear were collected in a combined effort from Your Print Partner employees.

Managing Director Stuart Maclaren said: “We think that Christmas is the perfect time to give back to the local community, and we hope that as a team we have collectively made the festive period a little bit better for some of these children.

“I’d like to thank the staff for their generous individual contributions, and General Manager Yvonne Clarkson in particular for coming up with the idea initially!”

Your Print Partner are not unfamiliar with the idea of supporting the community.

This year they participated in “Race for Life” as a team, became a sponsor of the Lincolnshire Elite Athlete Programme, as well as the Lincolnshire Disabled Sportsperson of the Year 2014, and were instrumental in bringing the Lincoln BIG Screen to Lincoln City Centre in the Summer.

Stuart added: “I cannot underestimate how important it has been for us to get involved with the Lincolnshire community. We are a local company and we love to see Lincoln growing.”
