Police have confirmed that a cyclist who was hit by a bus in Lincoln has died.
As previously reported, the man was hit by a bus at the junction of Wragby Road with Ruskin Avenue at 3.19pm on March 25.
Police confirmed that the man had been killed in the crash, and an investigation is continuing at the scene, with roads closed for several hours.
The man killed was a teacher at Lincoln Christ’s Hospital School, and his family are currently being informed.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “Sadly, the cyclist died at the scene. He is a local man but no further details are being released at this time.”
Police are appealing for witnesses of the incident as part of their investigation. Anyone with information is being asked to call 101, quoting incident number 221 of March 25.
