Highlights: Lincolnshire Show 2015 – Day 1

Day 1: The first day of the Lincolnshire Show has concluded after thousands flooded the Lincolnshire Showground in the glorious sunshine.

Thousands have made the most of the glorious sunshine at the first day of the 2015 Lincolnshire Show.

Visitors from across the county and further afield headed to the Lincolnshire Showground to enjoy the various live entertainment on offer at the county’s 131st show.

The event is expected to attract at least 60,000 people over the two days.

Within just a few hours of the gates having opened, organisers needed to prepare an additional overflow car park for around 500 cars.

Highlights of the first day included the RAF Falcons free falling through the sky, a bee keeping demonstration and a variety of livestock competitions.

Visitors also enjoyed delicious local dishes from the show’s food tents and browsed unique gifts and crafts in the hundreds of shopping stalls.
