Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a 31-year-old man was robbed by two men with Irish accents in Lincoln.

The incident occurred at around 2.30pm on Tuesday, June 23 when the victim was approached on Avondale Street, off Monks Road, by two men who tried to sell him televisions from their vehicle.

The victim was holding some cash to pay for work being done for him, and when he refused to buy any televisions the two men stole the money from him.

The two offenders are described as being their late teens to early 20s, with Irish accents, and driving a metallic grey Vauxhall or similar vehicle.

The victim was not injured in the robbery.
