Stairlift swiped from North Hykeham property after sale refused

Unusual theft: A stairlift, gardening tools and a power jetter have been stolen from outside a home in North Hykeham.

A stairlift, gardening tools and a ‘power jetter’ washer have been stolen from outside a home in North Hykeham.

Officers investigating the theft on Meadow Close are keen to speak to a man driving a yellow van who was interested in buying one of the items on Monday, June 1.

The man knocked on the door of the property, offering a small amount of money for an item outside the house but was told it was not for sale.

Police have said that they believe the theft occurred at some point during the rest of the day or the following day (June 2).

Anyone who saw a vehicle with a similar description in and around the area, or who has CCTV which may be of assistance, should contact Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 387 of June 2.
