Biker hospitalised with head injuries after Lincoln crash

Road closed: A motorcyclist has been injured in a crash in Lincoln this lunchtime.

A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital after a crash in Lincoln this lunchtime.

Emergency services were called to Long Leys Road at 12.20pm on July 23 after the crash between a silver Yamaha motorbike and a red Renault car.

The road is closed at the time of writing, and police have said it is likely to be shut for some time.

The man riding the motorbike suffered back and head injuries and was taken by ambulance to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.

However, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
