Thrill-seekers abseil down Lincoln Cathedral for charity

Unique fundraising: 45 daredevils from across the region grasped the opportunity to become the first people to ever abseil down Lincoln Cathedral.

Participants who signed up for the event from 11am to 4pm abseiled the daunting 98 feet from the ceiling inside the cathedral.

Money raised through registration and sponsorship fees will go towards Nottingham Hospitals Charity.

The charity is organising a host of other challenge events, such as skydives and treks, in aid of our Saving Lives Helipad Appeal, which aims to raise £3m to build an onsite helipad at the Queen’s Medical Centre.
