Police appeal for help to trace 12 people involved in Twyford Woods rave

Rave appeal: Lincolnshire Police have asked for the public’s help in identifying 12 people wanted in connection with an illegal rave at Twyford Woods in May.

Lincolnshire Police have asked for the public’s help in identifying 12 people wanted in connection with an illegal rave at Twyford Woods in May.

A total of 21 police officers and one police dog sustained injuries while police were working to disband the rave on May 23 and 24, which lasted almost 48 hours.

Three officers, two from Derbyshire and one from Lincolnshire required hospital treatment.

Lincolnshire Police said that the worst of the injuries was a suspected broken jaw which turned out not to be broken, and another officer sustained a fractured wrist.

Thirteen people were charged in relation to the race and a further six people were cautioned for possession of drugs. Court hearings are pending.

Police have confirmed that work is ongoing to bring to justice all those responsible who took part in any kind of criminal offences which included violent disorder, assault on police, criminal damage, dealing drugs, failing to stop for police, and failing to abide by direction to leave.

Anyone who recognises the people pictured should contact the force on 101, quoting incident 137 of September 11.
