Police have launched an appeal to find a missing Lincoln village man who is believed to be in a vulnerable state and suffering with depression.

The family of 33-year-old Simon Harrison from Washingborough say he has been missing for several hours.

They last had contact with him at 5:30pm on Wednesday, November 11 and are becoming increasingly concerned about his welfare.

Officers have stated he could be in the Lincoln or Washingborough areas.

In particular, people are asked to look out for him in the area between the south-west of Lincoln and towards Washingborough, and on the footpath that runs out to Washingborough along the river bank.

It is understood he does not have access to his own transport.

Simon is described as being six feet tall, thin build, clean shaven, with dark hair. He also wears contact lenses.

Police say it is possible he is wearing a blue or black jacket, jeans and blue suede Adidas trainers.

Anyone who sees him or who has any knowledge as to his whereabouts should call Lincolnshire Police on the non-emergency 101 number, quoting incident 369 of November 11.
