Producers behind a popular TV show which sees brides-to-bes hand over the reigns of the wedding planning to their fiancés are heading to Lincoln in search of trusting lovebirds.

Don’t Tell the Bride follows a groom who is given just three weeks to plan an entire wedding from scratch; from the venue, to the cake and the dress.

Grooms are given a budget of £14,000 to plan the surprise wedding of their bride’s dreams – hopefully.

Renegade Pictures has filmed over 100 wedding over the show’s nine year history and is moving from BBC Three to Sky One.

The production company will be casting in Lincoln and successful couples will be wed ready for the new 2016 series.

Previous episodes have featured the happiest moments of couples’ big days, as well as some of the more tense and emotional situations when the choice isn’t quite right.
