A Lincoln company is giving local businesses and fans the opportunity to make their mark in British motorsport by getting their branding or face printed on a racing car.
PP Motorsport, sister company to Lincoln bodywork business Paint Perfect, has graduated into the UK Clio Cup after only three years of racing professionally, a year ahead of schedule.
The team already has an ambitious plan of becoming a multi-car team in 2017 with the eventual goal of entering the British Touring Car Championship.
In preparation for the new season starting at the beginning of April, PP Motorsport are offering local businesses the chance to back the team through the Lincolnshire Business Network.

It will provide sponsors the opportunity to have their branding on the car as well as networking opportunities at exclusive events.
Fans of the sport are also being offered the chance to get involved by sending a 30x30mm sq. photo to be printed onto the forth generation Renault Clio along with entry into a raffle, which could see the winner driving the Michelin Clio Cup Series Car on a track day.

John Creasey, owner of both PP Motorsport and Paint Perfect (read about John in Issue 69 of Lincolnshire Business), said: “PP Motorsport are competing for the first time in UK Clio Cup, a popular support series for the British Touring Car Championship on the famous TOCA package.
“The team are proud of their Lincolnshire roots and would like to give local people a chance to get involved with the team and the series.

“Your photo will be carried on our race specification generation four Renault Clio throughout the 2016 UK Clio Cup season.
“The car will also be making a number of appearances at local events and everyone with their photo on the car will be invited to the PP Motorsport workshop open house event later in the year to see the car and meet the team.”
