Lincolnshire Police have confirmed that they are still treating the death of a man in Gainsborough over the weekend as unexplained, but do not believe it to be suspicious.

The body of the man, thought to be in his 20s, was discovered at flats in Marshalls Rise at around 6.45pm on Saturday, April 16.

Results of a post mortem examination proved inconclusive and police are now awaiting toxicology results.

A 27-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the incident has been released on police bail pending further investigation.
