Missing woman from Lincoln found murdered in Skegness

Police are investigating the murder of a 28-year-old woman living in Lincoln who was found dead in Skegness on Friday.

A 29-year-old man from Skegness has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.

Lenuta Ioana Haidemac was reported missing on Friday after she was taken to Drummond Road in Skegness at 10pm on Wednesday, July 20.

The Romanian woman’s body was then discovered at an address on the same road in Skegness on Friday afternoon.

Her death was initially treated as unexplained and now the East Midlands Special Operations Unit and Lincolnshire Police are investigating the murder.

Chief Inspector Jim Tyner from Skegness Police said: “Officers will be on patrol in the area. Please speak with my officers if you have any concerns or if you have any information which may help our enquiries.”
