A cyclist has been struck by a vehicle in a hit and run on Berkeley Street in Scunthorpe.

Humberside Police are looking for witnesses to the road traffic collision that happened at around 7pm on Friday, July 15.

The cyclist was struck by a silver or grey coloured vehicle, knocking him off his cycle.

This happened close to the junction with Spencer Avenue.

The 38-year-old Scunthorpe man required hospital treatment for various cuts, scrapes and bruises.

The car did not stop at the scene and officers are investigating and need to trace and identify the driver.
