A man in his 20s was taken to hospital after a single vehicle crash on Metheringham Heath Lane in Nocton.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue released the man from a black Renault Clio at around 4.20pm on Sunday, August 21.

A road closure was out in place for over four hours at the A15/B1202 junction.

The man was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham with serious injuries and remains in hospital.

Ewan Gell, Senior Investigating Officer at Lincolnshire Police, said: “If you were travelling on the B1202 at this time and think you saw this Renault Clio heading from the A15 towards Metheringham, please call us on 101 if you haven’t done so already, quoting incident 293 of August 21.”
