A 53-year-old man was threatened and robbed in Scunthorpe on Thursday, August 4.

The incident happened between 3pm and 3.30pm at the junction between Bottesford Road and Ashby High Street, Scunthorpe.

The man was walking with a stick after going to the shops when he was approached by an unknown man who grabbed his arm and threatened to punch him unless he handed over money.

The offender then grabbing the victim’s wallet and took cash before walking off, but did not hurt him.

The suspect is described as white, aged in his 40’s and had a medium to large build.

He had short dark hair and was clean shaven and was missing part of his left ear.
