Lincolnshire Police are investigating the cause of a large fire which has destroyed the former home of Louth Football Club.

Emergency services including eight fire engines, were called to the blaze at the ground and the social club on Park Avenue, Louth at around 3am on Monday, August 1.

Lincolnshire Police have said it’s too early to determine whether the fire was deliberate, and officers are working with Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue to determine the cause.

Police also confirmed there have been no injuries and no nearby properties needed to be evacuated.
