Former heavyweight champion of the world Frank Bruno will host a special dinner in Lincolnshire later this year.
The boxing celebrity will visit Lincolnshire fight fans a year later than planned on November 11 at the Bentley Hotel and Spa in South Hykeham.
Boxing fans will be able to hear stories of Frank’s struggle to the top before defeating American Oliver McCall in his fourth world title attempt at the old Wembley Stadium back in 1995.
This month it has also been announced that a film is set to be made of Frank’s life.
Guests will enjoy a three course meal, entertainment, and have the opportunity to have a picture taken with Frank.
Event organiser James Beattie of seeitnowsports.com said: “I am delighted Frank is back to full health, it’s a year to the day since he had to pull out of the original event.
“I am meeting Frank on Sunday and we are filming a video message to promote the event.
“I am keen to engage businesses who may be interested in sponsoring the event too, with a chance to meet Frank in person in a private drinks reception before the event starts.”
