A man has died in hospital after a crash on the A16 near Boston last week.

As previously reported, the crash involving a Renault Megane and a Vauxhall Astra at Stickford happened around 4.40pm on Friday, September 16.

The driver of the Megane was airlifted to hospital but has since died from his injuries.

A 47-year-old man arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving has been released on police bail until November.

Lincolnshire Police have said that they are keen to speak to anyone who saw the two vehicles being driven in the Boston area or on the A16 before the incident.

Sergeant Chris Dennett, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This is a very tragic collision. To help with our investigation I appeal for anyone who saw these vehicles on the A16 or in Boston to call in.”
