Business support organisation Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce will be moving to a bigger premises after nearly 20 years to help grow its business hub.

The Chamber will be selling its current building on Outer Circle Road, which is presently also home to other businesses such as community radio station Lincoln City Radio.

The move in November will see the Chamber and many of its tenants move to a larger building two doors down from its current site.

This will provide additional space to let to new businesses and the organisation is currently looking for firms to fill the vacant rooms.

As previously reported, Lincoln City Radio will not be moving to the new site due to negotiations between the two organisation breaking down abruptly, leaving the radio station to search for new accommodation.

Simon Beardsley, Chief Executive at Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce said: “This is an exciting time for us, and something that has been carefully considered by our Board of Directors.

“We’ve been trading from our current building for nearly 20 years, and whilst it’s played a key role over this time, it has not proven financially viable to turn it into the future business hub needed by Lincolnshire Chamber, our members and tenants who rent rooms from us.”
