Man airlifted to hospital after A16 collision near Boston

A 27-year-old man from the Boston area has been airlifted to hospital after a collision on the A16 near Stickford. The incident involving a Renault Megane and a Vauxhall Astra happened around 4.40pm on Friday, September 16. The Megane left the road and the injured driver was airlifted to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham with very serious injuries.…

A 27-year-old man from the Boston area has been airlifted to hospital after a collision on the A16 near Stickford.

The incident involving a Renault Megane and a Vauxhall Astra happened around 4.40pm on Friday, September 16.

The Megane left the road and the injured driver was airlifted to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham with very serious injuries.

The driver of the Astra, a 39-year-old local man, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and has since been bailed until November.

Any witnesses who have not already spoken with police are asked to call 101, quoting incident number 332 of September 16.
