A young woman who died in a crash in Nottinghamshire has been officially named as Dominique Wright from Lincoln. A young woman who died in a crash in Nottinghamshire has been officially named as Dominique Wright from Lincoln.

Dominique was a passenger in a vehicle which crashed on Southwell Road, between High Cross and Thurgarton Village on Sunday, October 30.

Officers were called to the scene at 12.30am.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Dominique’s father, David Wright, gave an emotional tribute to his daughter.

He said: “We are very saddened about this tragic accident. It will take time but we hope the family will recover fully.

“We would very much like Dominique to be remembered and respected as a wonderful young woman.”
