Today is the day! The first day of December and, more importantly, the start of the 34th annual Lincoln Christmas Market.
Stallholders and businesses are bracing themselves for the arrival of thousands of festive shoppers in Lincoln at 12pm today.
Around 250,000 people are expected to descend on the historic uphill quarter of the city over the four-day event.
A host of festive treats will be available, including: food, drink, gifts and entertainment for the whole family.
Stalls include hand-made crafts, gifts, jewellery, candles, toys, art, local produce, food and drink.
An official ceremony will take place at 6.30pm on December 1, at the Cathedral to mark the opening of the market.
