The sun is setting on the final evening of preparations before the 2016 Lincoln Christmas Market. Stallholders and businesses are bracing themselves for the arrival of thousands of festive shoppers in Lincoln.
The historic market, which has in previous years welcomed around 250,000 people to uphill Lincoln, will feature more than 300 stalls with gifts, food and drink, as well as fun rides, games and festive entertainment.
Ahead of the opening (midday on Thursday, December 1) stallholders were seen putting the finishing touches in the different areas of the market, Lincoln Castle, Lincoln Cathedral, The Lawn and Union Road.
