Police fired a taser at a man who was holding a knife to his own throat.
A 25-year-old man is facing charges at Lincoln Crown Court after police used tasers to stop him holding a knife to his throat.
Billy Richard-Jones was charged with affray and possession of a knife and appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, December 20 and was remanded in custody to appear at Lincoln Crown Court on January 23.
As previously reported, police were called to Tower Avenue in Lincoln at around 12pm on Sunday, December 18.
The suspect was found to be in possession of a knife and was threatening to cut his throat.
Police fired tasers at him when orders to drop the knife were ignored.
