Industrial services company Able UK has secured a £25 million contract with BMW, allowing the German car maker to create a new import base, bringing in 100 new jobs for the region and providing storage for over 10,000 vehicles.

The new base will be situated on the banks of the Humber in North East Lincolnshire on a site close to Immingham Docks.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2017 and the site will be operated by Grimsby-based GBA Group once open.
