Princess Anne is due to visit Lincolnshire today for the opening of a new boiler house at Boston Stump.

The official opening on Thursday, December 15, will be led by the Princess Royal, who is Patron of the Boston Stump Restoration and Development Appeal.

HRH Princess Anne last visited the church in Boston in March this year to mark the restoration of the Stump and previously visited the church on June 8, 2015, when she took part in a dedication service for the restored Cotton Chapel.

In 2013, she visited the Stump shortly after it was flooded.

The Princess Royal also visited Bishop Grosseteste University, Lincoln College and Lindum Business Park in Lincoln in February 2013 and Sturton by Stow in 2014 for the opening of a new Educational Centre at Gelder Group.
