A woman has been sexually assaulted and robbed near Grimsby’s Fishing Heritage centre.

The incident happened close to the bandstand at around 6.35pm on Tuesday, December 13, as the 20-year-old woman walked from the town centre towards Sainsbury’s car park.

A man, believed to be in his late 20s, approached her and touched her inappropriately, before grabbing an electric toothbrush from her bag and running towards the town centre.

The man is described as white, of skinny build, 5ft 6in tall, balding, with short cropped hair.

He wore a black, waist length zip-up hooded jacket and dark clothing.
